Great place. 12 spots i think! Beautiful clean place. Great laundromat on site We stayed . Jan -Mar. Common area,to gather and visit by campfire. Shrimp boils, everyone pitch in breakfasts..pets welcome..short walk to beach. Owners go out of their way to help
We left to visit relatives in near Miss..Started back and my transmission broke down.. Took 13 days ..owners. kept watch on our belongings...and even comped,our days when we finally got our,truck back.. and went past our check out dates..we will return..Thanks Lanny and Michele!!
I have been camping since I was a child. My wife and I arrived to meet Lanny & Michelle on a Sunday afternoon in June. I have never had such a great welcome. They introduced us to the Island, giving us a brief history, etc. Then they took us out for an Island tour. Upon return we had a wonderful dinner. My best stay ever! We will return for the summer in 2013!
We enjoyed our two-month stay here at Island House RV Park. Lanney and Michele, our hosts were wonderful. They arranged a sailboat trip for us at no cost and,they were extremely helpful to all the guests. We had great fun fishing, enjoying meals together with all of the other campers, walking our dogs on the beach, and so on. This is a great place to relax and enjoy all that Grand Isle has to offer.
This is a great place to stay. If you love to fish it's the place to be. Easy walk to the beach. Great laundromat. Very friendly people. Michelle is a great camp host. Ride your bike all over the island. Can't wait to go back
I was so blessed to have found this amazing rv park. Michelle and Lanny are very wonderful humans. I had my quiet time for a month that was so needed. I am attaching these fun and beautiful pictures of your amazing island. Much love to you and Lanny. May God shine his light on you!
