We had a very nice time.

Recreation activities for young ones was enjoyable. I recommend the camp.

When notified of any issues they were addressed. Our family and group had a wonderful time.

Walmart is nearby.

We just left the campground and we were so sad to leave! From the front desk attendants, to the activity coordinator, lifeguards, and bathroom attendants, everyone is so friendly and pleasant. The grounds are well kept, bathrooms are clean (as long as guests clean up after themselves, shame to say some do not) but this campground definitely goes above and beyond to make sure our stay was a great one. My kids loved the water park and jumping pillow as well as the cool activities planned throughout the day! Until next time Yogi!!!! We will most definitely be going back!

The staff at the check in / store are very nice and it is a true kids haven. 2 years ago it was 4 stars when we tent camped. The facilities were cleaned & mopped constantly. This time we rented a premier cabin and it wasn’t cleaned. They sent someone to mop it out when we told them which was nice) but they didn’t do anything more. The shower curtain stunk, toilet was gross, any and all towel bars and hooks were completely ripped out and missing. The loft wasn’t vacuumed. Counters were dirty and deck had sticky patches from last guest. There’s nothing in the unit where we could do anything but sweep. No mop, bucket or vacuum. It’s obvious that the cleaning staff and the pool lifeguards don’t want to do their jobs (not even watching kids in pool just on their phone) The bathrooms by the pool and playground were gross. Very different experience from last visit.

We were there over Labor Day weekend 2023, and the park was busy. That being said,we enjoyed our trip. They kids did ceramic painting and tie -dye shirts, and they loved the playground. The pool area was a hit. They have a little convenience store and snack / arcade building. Our cabin was fine and it worked for our family. My only complaint of the entire weekend was that I would have liked our cabin floors and fans to have been cleaned prior to us coming. Our fans had an excessive coating of at least an inch of dust on them, and the kids' feet were almost black by running around inside the cabin. Yes, I would recommend the park, and yes, I would return because overall, my children enjoyed their time there.

We love going to Jellystone Parks. We’ve been to three different locations so far. We recently visited Birchwood acres with a number of our close friends and, overall, had a great time. The location is beautiful. Check in was very quick which was surprising as other locations we’ve visited took forever. Parking at the main office/store was very limited. So check in time was a little crazy in that area. Our cabin was in a nice, wooded spot and had a nice large deck. The interior needed some work and had an old, musty smell.

We visited the pool on several occasions. The large upper pool looked absolutely beautiful but we were quite surprised how frigidly cold it was. The Pool Attendant (no lifeguards) told us that the heater was broken. Speaking of lifeguards, there are staff members at the pool and the water zone. Their shirts say Pool Attendant and it didn’t seem as if they were certified lifeguards. One of the pool attendants sat in a shaded area looking at his phone for almost the entire time we spent at the pool that day.

The water zone, which was supposed to be the big deal for the 9 kids who were with us was a bit underwhelming as many of the water features didn’t work. The public bathrooms by the pool were very much in need of a deep cleaning.

On our last day, we watched our neighbors pack up and leave and a golf cart with two housekeepers show up. They got out of their cart, did not take ANY cleaning supplies with them and spent probably two minutes in the cabin before they locked the door and left. That was very concerning to see at the end of our stay. There’s an expectation of cleanliness when you rent a hotel room or a cabin.

Lastly, this really isn’t the fault of anyone in particular, but be aware that the lake, arcade and snack bar are across a public road. SOME cars slow down as they pass the campground, others were flying down this road. As much as we wanted to give our older kids freedom to explore, this part worked us.
