This was my families first time camping.
We had no idea what to expect. The camp site was easy to find, clean and quiet. At night the stars were so bright my daughter thought you could actually touch them. We rented out a tent space, our neighbors were a nice distance away so we were not bothered at all. There are also many activities to do at this particular location. We had a great time and look forward to returning.
Great place to camp for the family. The cabins fit our family of 6 (including one in a pack n play) very comfortably. We had a wasp nest under our deck one day and someone came within minutes to take care of it for us. So many fun activities to do for the kids too! Definitely will be going back 😊
The best place to start is by saying how awesome the entire staff was. Especially Claudia, from the very first phone call to the follow up calls (after my wife was hospitalized) and eventually check in. She patiently listened to our dilemma and worked out an awesome solution. Thank you Claudia!
Now for the camp ground itself. What an awesome place. No better place to celebrate a Halloween weekend. The camp ground is extremely kid/family friendly with many things to do. The Halloween weekends include site decorating, costume contest, a haunted trail, a not so haunted trail for the little ones, magic pumpkin seeds, golf cart decorating and finally trick or treating. Because of Lazy River we have a whole new appreciation for Halloween. There are many great sites to choose from along the water, on the hill, some more secluded sites, tent sites and lots of cabins. From what I could see most RV sites are quite level despite being gravel. There are larger concrete padded sites as well. The terrain is perfect for walking and/or bike riding. I can imagine how much fun this place is in the summertime when the pool and lazy river are open. A pavilion (with an amazing view) is located on top of the hill for gathering and/or private parties. So much more can be said, but let's leave at we'll definitely be back.
Our stay was wonderful. The staff was attentive and always available when we had questions. We had a little birthday party for our son on his 7th birthday. We invited some of the staff and other campers who celebrated with us and we had cake. He was so excited when the rode up later in there golf cart and brought a birthday balloon and sign and even a birthday present of a yogi bear pillow making kit. He said it was the best day ever. This resort offers so many activities to keep everyone entertained and even got my kids to try new things like tubing. We have already booked again to go back next July.
We stayed late into November before the end of the season. First time back in years and had an absolute blast! Rented a golf cart to check out the park and the whole family loved it. Watching the local skydivers parachuting down was amazing as well. Amenities and hookups worked fine, no issues or complaints for our 30 amp. Highly recommend a stay🤙🏻
