W'bound from I-470 (exit 10A): Go 1-3/4 mi E on Colbern Rd to park entrance, then 1/2 mi N to campground entrance. E'bound from I-470 (exit 9) & Douglas St: Go 1/4 mi N, then 2-1/2 mi E on Colbern Rd to park entrance, then 1/2 mi N to campground entrance.
Idk if the awesome trails are part of the campground out they need some free range chicken to reduce the amount of ticks. My ankles and calfs were covered in ticks. I did go off trail a couple times though. Water pressure was awful. trash threw out the wooded trails is a disappointment. For 'basic' $29 I've stayed at better campgrounds with better animities.
Camp ground is lovely and bath house is clean. Sites are a little to close together for my liking but definitely not a deal breaker.
The camp host guy is not a very friendly guy which is unfortunate but still not a deal breaker.
I would camp here again
