This is Annette and Kenton Dittmer with Green Acres at Red Brick Farmhouse in rural Higginsville, Missouri. We are so excited to have you stay with us at the farm. Annette's cell number is 660.909.5573. Just to let you know it is very important that if you are traveling down I-70 to get to us, that you make sure and turn off on Exit 49. Please note your GPS may direct you to the wrong exit
To get here take exit 49 off of I-70, go north on 13 Highway. You are now just 8 minutes away from us. The good news is you will be traveling on all highways, not gravel roads, to get to the farm. If you are coming on I-70 from the west please do not use your GPS it will take you on windy gravel roads, which is totally unnecessary. Pleas arrive before dusk!
There is a Pilot gas station at Exit 49 if you need to fuel up.
Continue on 13 Hwy north for 3 1/4 miles until you see MM Highway.
Turn left or west on MM Hwy and go 3 miles. For the next 3/4 mile MM will turn to the south up and down a hill and again like a large S curve.
Our home is at the top of the second curve. Look for a large older, 3 story, red brick home.
There is also a clawfoot tub in the front yard that says Red Brick Farmhouse B & B.
Pull straight up the driveway and stop at the entrance to the circle drive. Please stay on the gravel driveway. Just call when you arrive or knock on the back porch door and we will come out and guide you to your spot.
Just call if you need anything. If you cannot reach me, my husband, Kenton's cell is 660.909.5493
Please let me know you received the directions to Green Acres at Red Brick Farmhouse and your ETA.
We also have a restaurant in Higginsville, Red Shanty Cafe & BBQ, 2201 Highway 13, that you can dine in or carry out. There is an American Legion Parking Lot directly behind the restaurant for easier parking and a good turn around spot. Red Shanty Cafe is open Weds & Thurs, 11am - 8pm and Fri & Sat 11am - 9pm.
Thank you, Annette and Kenton
This B & B has a couple of RV hookups. I would recommend staying here. The owners are very nice and accomadating. This place is beautiful and serene. We will definitely stay here again.
A very nice and affordable site. Had a great experience. The view and clean air were refreshing and the hosts were very kind.
Wonderful spot. Great hosts and we had a wonderful spot for our RV and dogs
My first camping experience was wonderful, unfortunately it ended by being yelled at by the husband for a miscommunication he and his wife had. I don't advise colored people to come here. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!?
We stayed at the Ain't She Cute trailer for our anniversary. What she has done with that little travel trailer is amazing. All of the necessities are there, but the little decorative touches made this trip memorable.
