Man, the staff is nice so I really wanted to give more stars but I can't do that. First off, it is ridiculously priced considering the condition of the grounds & lack of amenities. The campground is extremely rundown. Full timers that look real shady in dilapidated rvs & junk everywhere. Anything over 39' is going to have a hard time entering & exiting due to tight turns, but NO ONE will avoid trees scraping the top & sides of your rig.
It's very conveniently located right off the expressway but not worth it. Bummer.
We stumbled upon this campground while RVing on way back to Fl at dusk of a Saturday evening . We were having an issue with our holding tanks. I have never experienced such kindness and generosity from the people who own, Bob, and who work there, KC, Paul and mostly Matt who went hands on with the “shitty” job of fixing our problem. I just can’t get over the kindness and niceness of these people. The camp itself is very cute with a fishing pond, a pool, showers and bathrooms. Now, my favorite moment was when after showing me the map, Bob indicated that the rules were listed in the back of the paper, which was blank!! No frills and no airs, just a downright nice place with the nicest and kindest people I have ever met. Thank you all so much, you have restored my faith in humanity.
We stayed one night. It was quiet and we slept great. Not well lit. Bathrooms/shower could use cleaning. And the property needs some upkeep. Trash is piled up in places. Chickens and a dog run free. The dog is friendly it will hang around and jump on your car if you also have a dog. People also live here. Its not a bad price but you always get what you pay for so it is. a little run down. The host was very friendly.
