Stayed 2 nights. Owners were great. Haunted trail was fun. Few things. Had a camper pull in at 10:30 an leave his diesel truck running for a hour while they set up. With the campsites soo close to each other maybe have a time limit on pulling in. Other was we dont have dogs. But had piles of dog poop around my truck twice. Stepped in it once. A lot of dogs there. Maybe have people pick up after their dog if the dog poops at someones door. Last we lost power last night for some reason and had to go out and turn it off and back on.

Had a great time in Hermann with some great friends.

We looked for a place to meet family halfway between Kansas and Ohio and this fit the bill. The new owners clearly have done a lot to update the campground. There are a number of full hook up sites. The pool is large and clean. There are clean restrooms with showers for campers who need them. On Labor Day weekend there were lots of activities: a corn hole tournament, Water games for the kids and a poker run around the campground. The owner was friendly and helpful; you often saw her or her co-owner around the campground. The only complaint I have is that the newer sites are very narrow so you end up with only a few feet between trailers. The larger, shaded sites seen to be mostly local, long term campers. The owners were very flexible. I looked at other campgrounds in the area that wanted extra $ for more than one dog (we had 4 with us) and extra charges for more than 2 adults. I would go back to Hickory Ridge again.

We needed a place to stay for one night which was on our route. The owners were very nice and helpful! They were more than happy to meet our request of a quiet spot since we were exhausted after two days of driving. The restroom had one shower which was clean. They had a fishing pond and a nice looking pool but we were too tired to take advantage of them. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed two nights to try out new camper and visit family. Location was great. Close to several sites, including Hermann, MO. TV and radio were spotty (possibly an antenna issue). Strong Verizon signal. Campground itself was very nice. Owners were out and about both days we were there checking on things and cleaning up. It was busy but quiet. Sites were easy to get in and out, with plenty of space for camper, slide outs and truck.
