Great fishing and THOSE FISH FIGHT WHEW DOGGY. You think you got them the FIGHT loved it
Nice little pit stop. You do hear the Hwy traffic but seriously, not that badly. It looks like the hikes are decommissioned (most likely due to covid) comfortably suites 4 rigs. Has a boat launch but even with the hikes closed, it looks like this lake is closing in on itself. Stayed for the day and 1 overnight (it's nature, there's lots of bugs) clean pit toilet too.
Beautiful spot! This is our second stop in the past year on our way through.
The trash left behind by some irresponsible campers is disappointing.
Impressive little park that seems well tucked away in the beauty of nature. My husband and I just went on a little road trip on a whim and stumbled here. Such a beautiful, peaceful place. A nice sized lake, trails, camping sites, and one sketchy hole in the ground bathroom (still better than nothing!!) I am sure this park would be even more beautiful under the night sky with endless stars and little to no light pollution.
Definitely would love to come back here and stay, wake up to the sunrise on the lake!
