Many cultures, one Texas. Visiting this historic site is worth a visit when in the area. Learn about the native Americans, Spanish explorers and missionaries in southeast Texas. It’s a small park and learned tons of facts on our visit. If anything it’s a great place to take pictures.

A great state park. I really enjoyed my time here. The campground near the entrance looks very good with lots of pull through sites that appear to be very good for large motorhomes.

We Parked in site 11. The sites are on a loop and all are pull thrus. Easy parking with a tow vehicle and a Renegade 38. Full hook ups. Nice park. Lots of history, monuments & museums near by. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and standard park grill. Goliad is literally a mile away. Very smallinteresting downtown square. Hanging tree in the square.

Blue Quail Restaurant (featured on (Texas Bucket List) Jalapeos Soup - $27.50 - a quart. Yes, its that good. We had AT&T service but only 2-3mbsdeployed the Starlink..75mbs. We camped at Goliad State Park in a Motorhome

We had a great time visiting this state park for the weekend. The downpour our first night resulted in a high muddy river but that didn’t stop us from trying to fish and enjoying a bike ride. Love the boardwalk trail into town! The mission visit provided a nice history lesson for us. Easy walk or bike to Presidio down the street. We learned so much about Texas history. Goliad is a cute little town just a mile away with shops and restaurants. Definitely bring your bikes to this state park!

Cool historic place and a really nice campground. Interesting, this might have been the most powerful shower I've ever been in. So nice when a campground has good water pressure.
