Take Exit 194 off of Interstate 35 and go west on Hwy 18 approximately five miles to McIntosh Rd. Turn south to the park entrance.
We had a blast at this RV campground. The worker we talked to was very nice. The Trails are nice. We just had a very relaxing trip, so relaxing, we extended our stay (and will definitely be back!)
What a wonderful little campground! Mature trees, plenty of space to maneuver, a clean dump site, water to fill up on site, a clean dump station. A perfect little place to camp. Also super cheap, like back in the 90s.
Stayed in the yurt. Clean, quiet, dark at night so bring some portable lights. Restrooms located right there with a shower. All clean. This was our second stay here. Short walk down small staircase to little pier on the water. Water views. Close to town yet very secluded. This park also has a beach and boat launch, tons of fisherman here, camping sites.
Great park right on Clear Lake! Park is a little small. Has a decent hiking trail for a short walk. Plenty of picnic benches and lake access. Great bird viewing spot. Camp ground is well kept and has plenty of RV and tent spots with a restroom and showers.
I stopped by here to check out the boardwalk and bird blind. This place is really cool, and I definitely want to come back during migration. There are all kinds of cool hiking trails and fishing spots, plenty of picnic areas too. Beautiful flora and fauna.
