The main entrance is located 3 miles north of Creston on Green Valley Road P27, then west on 130th St about 1/3 mile, then turn south into the park.
Would give zero stars if it were an option. Spent a whole day here camping with no issues and on the second day the ranger comes and tells people in my group that my campers needs moved and parked the right direction because I pulled in my pull through site the opposite way to face the people I was camping with. Not hurting anything. I was hooked up to the correct utilities. The ranger didn't even have the decency to tell me myself (I was inside my camper.) There is nothing in the rules about it, no one way signs either. The park is fine. Ranger is rude and inconsiderate. Spent over $100 to camp and get treated like this. Will never come back here for sure.
Nice and clean place with Beach, place for camping, Biking trails and much more!!
I normally do not like to leave bad reviews but I feel I have to with this one. We very recently camped overnight for two nights. At dusk and into the evening we like to enjoy a slowdown time with a campfire in the evenings with no lights on. The DNR officer decided to park his truck running with his headlights aiming straight into our campsite while he visited our camping neighbors. I was being patient but after 25 minutes I decided I would go over and ask him nicely if he could shut off his headlights but before I got over there he then proceeded to move on. Probably won't be back. A little respect to campers from a DNR officer would go a long ways.
What a peaceful park. Enjoyed the camping and cabins. Also love the candle of green Valley purchased from Three Little Birds Marketplace. Memories and smells to take with me.
Beautiful campground, bathrooms are well cleaned, park is neat and tidy and camping spots are easily located and easy to get into.
