The Amana RV Park& Event Center is a quiet place for a scenic getaway or long term stay. Offering large, level sites, free wi-fi, laundry facilities, LP service and close proximity to shops and restaurants, the park is a great location for your visit to the Iowa City or Cedar Rapids area. Plenty of festivals and events close by all season to keep you entertained! Open April 1st to November 1st.
Located 15 mi from Cedar Rapids and 17 mi from Iowa City. Take exit 225 on I-80 and go N on Hwy 151 for 5 mi. At the Hwy 6 intersection turn right towards Homestead. Hwy 6 will merge with Hwy 151, 1/2 mi S of Homestead. Proceed on Hwy 151 for 3 mi towards Amana. At the intersection of 151 and 220 proceed straight 1/2 mi to C St and turn left (W). Go 1/2 mi and RV park entrance is on the left.
Large RV sites with full hook ups. Laundry room and showers centrally located. Friendly helpful staff. Room rating reflects RV site.
Well, the description states it is the #1 RV Park in Iowa….so, so WRONG!!
It’s large but that’s it. The sites are back-in two campers back to back which is HORRIBLE! Had our door opening 2ft from neighbors sewer. Sites can be deceptively unlevel, mostly grass sites.
We will never come back here. The only reason we stayed this time was for a FROG Rally.
We held our wedding ceremony and reception in the Annex and Pioneer buildings. It was PERFECT for what we needed. Jamie was very easy and nice to work with. They're very accommodating to what you need. Guests were able to reserve camp sites as well.
