We stayed for 2 nights. They seem to have a short stay section that towards the entrance. We had a nice view of the lake. Luckily our sewer wasn’t uphill, but most sights were. Our spot of mostly level. They did not lead us to our spot. They advertise cable TV, but told us upon checkin that it was not working. Internet was okay, except for the fact that they don’t have it set up to connect a smart TV. This makes no sense as most people would prefer to use their smart TV. This is the first KOA that I have been to that does not have trash pickup, which I don’t understand being a resort. We had someone in the spot behind us with a large dog and they did not keep the poop picked up, meaning we were dodging poop piles during set up and tear down. This worked okay for the 2 nights that we stayed, if we are ever back in the area we would look for an alternative place.

I reserved a tent site here and I was the only person tent camping that night. They placed me in the back of park with an out of order facility house. I wasn’t able to use the shower, bathroom or laundry without having to traverse to the opposite side park each time to do so.

I brought this up to management and asked for a refund, but she kept on bringing up irrelevant things that had no bearing on the situation like, I should have reserved an rv spot even though I didn’t have an rv( the rv’s on that side of the park had the same issue, but probably had toilets in their campers ) or I should have booked a tent site at the front of the park since I’m clairvoyant and should know instinctively that the back of the park was out of order. Bottom line is this park has no accountability, they won’t admit to mistakes.

This park is also impossible to navigate after dark since many of the site numbers aren’t visible, often pointed in the opposite direction of travel.

Simply put, you didn’t offer a service I couldn’t have gotten from a free rest stop, you’ve only provided frustration . Give me my money back.

Upon arrival the staff was not very informative or personable. The cabin was not clean, the floor of the shower was so filthy. Beds very uncomfortable and not enough blankets. The futon had sand in it when we pulled it out for our son to sleep. The floor made your socks so dirty, I had to scrubbed the floor. The staff made you feel like you were inconveniencing them when rent paddle canoe. The pond was smelly and muddy a lot of algae. We went up the the shop at 7:30am and no coffee made as our coffee pot didn’t work. We checked out a day early as we were to stay another night but with the dirty cabin and not so friendly staff our kids wanted to leave.

Stayed for 4 nights. Sites are all on hills and not level side to side. Nobody adheres to speed limit. Never saw workers cleaning campsites. Our fireplace was full when we arrived. Does not appear any mowing has been done for weeks. Site was quiet and they do have a gas station with diesel on site so that is a plus. Nice dog park that has water station, some lighting at night would be nice.

Huge facility, nice lake with lots of fish and water fowl. Nice store, gas station and general store. Near a huge water park. Very clean restrooms and huge off leash dog park (largest we've ever seen at a KOA). Only issue with our site 11 is the dump drain is uphill. Staff was nice and they had a pancake breakfast that was yummy. Close to John Deere Museum and Factory Tours. Close to Walmart and lots of stores and restaurants Enjoyed our stay
