It is a beautiful park with a lot of extras. Two nice playground areas, a hedge maze, bocce ball courts, hiking trails, a covered bridge, and of course Clark Tower, a three level tower with an amazing view. The north shelter is large with a fireplace, power outlets, and nice restrooms.

We drove to Clark Tower and the drive is not for the faint of heart! I felt victorious in making the climb due to some mobility issues I experience. Beautiful view from the top.

Had a lovely time. This park sets next to a small campground.40 spots for Rzvs and 5 primitive tent sites. There are many interesting things to do and see in the park. The park is on the edge of town, and a short distance to downtown, 4 of the covered bridges, the John Wayne museum, one of the freedom rocks, and a great ice cream stand. 🍦

Super clean and fun park. Hiking trail, tower, hedge maze, and playground. It also has one of the covered bridges of Madison County. The Cutler-Donahoe Bridge built in 1870. It's just over a half mile from the John Wayne birthplace and museum. I made a stop at the Hogback Covered Bridge as well. Lots of cool stuff to do around this small town. It should be an all day adventure!
