From Jct of I-35 & SR-175, W 4 mi on SR-175 to US-69, S 1.5 mi (l).
great place for camping this year they have a new bathhouse ...Very Nice! they have great access to the lake and a well kept campground.
This seems like a nice campground. Reasonable prices. I don't care for the first serve policy, because it doesn't work well with my schedule. The restrooms seemed clean. The host was nice. The officer was helpful.
It's a decent little RV park and I guess even better if you own a boat. The road nearby is heavily traveled and most vehicles drive past like their running a race. On our first morning we were awoken by the sound of two ride on tractor mowers around 8:30am. Sorry, but when I'm trying to get away from it all constant traffic and noisy mornings aren't my thing.
Also, another morning we woke up to hear someone shooting a gun about 100-200 yards away?! Wouldn't really recommend.
This park is clean and beautiful. You will find several sitting areas near the lake. There is a shade near the lake and you can reserve for party.
