Located on the west side of Big Spirit Lake off of County Rd M49.
Great views, flat site, electricity, perfect all around!
Great Campground! Freshly renovated. A handful of lakeside sites, some cement, some crushed rock. Pull thru and back in. Has everything from rustic to full hook up. 2 docks for fishing and 1 dock for boat launch. New bath houses but we were here off season and they were closed so I can't comment on them. I'm sure they are nice. Close to the road so you do hear some traffic but the traffic is pretty light. There are a lot of sites here but it's very popular so book early!
Concrete everywhere clean bathroom showers no garbage laying around quiet..the lake was very close. If l was a fisherman l am sure l would have caught a variety of fish. We loved every minute of our stay and it is only 2 hours away. It was a lovely surprise as we had never heard of it and were just taking our chances 🙃 on what we were getting.
It really needs to be advertised more.There is a great picnic site within walking distance called Templar Park..it is beautiful there too. If you have a bicycle be sure to bring it as the bike walking trails are all concrete and appear to go all the way around the Great Spirit Lake. You must call 2 days ahead for reservations but can only occupie the space for 14 days. Summer will be hard to get in without confirmation
