The Selway Campground has 7 campsites along Meadow Creek. Boat put-in below the Selway Falls to float to Lowell. The wild and scenic section of the Selway contains Class IV rapids and runs from Paradise Campground to Selway Falls. The Campground will accomodate RV's less than 30-ft. length.
From Kooskia, go east 24 miles on US 12 and southeast about 20 miles on Forest Road 223.
Bring bug spray bittig fly's and mosquitoes. Other than that it is a great place to camp
Nothing a little TLC and some elbow grease wouldn't cure. The facilities are absolutely disgusting. In fact, every vault bathroom that was past the pavement was in serious disrepair. The smell from the men's bathroom wafted over to our campsite. The women's side had no toilet paper in it at all. Neither side had a handy "keep the toilet seat closed" sign to help remind everyone to put the seat down because it isn't exactly a flush toilet. Finally, we drove to the top of cool water mountain and saw a forest service worker sitting out doing a survey, where all two of us drove right past her. It would have been better if she was driving a truck from site to site with bleach and toilet paper.
