Located off U.S. Highway 12 across from the Wild and Scenic Lochsa River, Jerry Johnson Campground offers 20 campsites for visitors to enjoy. The campground is located a short distance from the popular Jerry Johnson Hot Springs, where outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a hike in to one of Idaho's incredible natural phenomenons.
From Lowell, ID, take US Rt. 12 east 54.1 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground.
Jerry Johnson campground was well kept and it had giant fire pits and clean picnic tables at each site.
Isnt the most amazing camp spot but there are so many good trails around it lioe warms springs trail. Definitely check it out!!
It is a very nice campground, paved back in stes only, all pretty level. In ground fire pits. Gorgeous views of tree covered mountains. Most of the stes were empty, on a Saturday afternoon. Good campground.
