Beautiful area! Found many fresh morels, found turkey eggs, also found ceriosporus squamosus aka Pheasants Tail aka Dryaids Saddle.
Did a little mushroom hunting here this spring, we had never been here before! A little hideaway that I think would be great for a future camping trip! We plan to come back and explore when we have more time! We did unfortunately take home a few visitors from the woods...tics!! Yuck!! But that’s par for the course, nature!!
We camped overnight. They have a pit toilet planty of parking, horse trails and hiking trails, picnic tables short distance from I70.
Love, Love, LOVE this place. Some of the best Hunting and Hiking trips I've ever had, had taken place here, I give props to the conservation dept for doing a amazing job with the work they do to keep the trails and fields looking amazing!
