Only reason I give this place 4 stars is because of the people who stay here that are friendly. The place is clean but small.
The camp team (or whoever) are not around when you need them and leave children in charge of the front desk at checkout time.
Pool has ridiculous rules on when to be open, even on hot days. Sometimes they don't even open it until 3, which is what happened when I was there.
Electric sites are not well labeled on whose Electric is whose. Expensive for not having anything to do recreationally. No trails or rentals (must bring your own life jackets; they do not provide them, so might as well not have anything to rent).
What a Blessing to have found Hoffman Lake Campground!!! So glad our family and close friends came this weekend! From the pool, to taking the kayak out on the lake and also fishing to the line dancing lessons and the most important blessing was Bible Study today with Staci!!! We laughed so hard this weekend! If you want to feel safe camping and have the best time, give it a try. This is the best deal going for camping!!! The Lord is evident here from the people to his creation!!!! You would be hard-pressed not to find him here!!!! May God Bless Hoffman Lake campground and the wonderful family that runs it and all the people that camp there!!! Special shout out to the lady cleaning the bathrooms! She is top notch!!! The King Family!! You can’t get rid of us! We will be back 😉😉😉😉😉🙌🏻🙏🏻
Family medical emergency occurred on 6/27/23. Medical condition worsened and on 7/3/23 I needed to cancel all my travel plans including the camping reservation for 7/10/23 to 7/12/23. Hoffman Lake Campground subsequently assessed a cancellation fee and the business extended a credit without giving me a choice of a refund. I was notified of this on 8/2/23 via email after my inquiry. This was an unavoidable cancellation. I was a returning customer. Avoid this business. They have no compassion.
A great easy campground. If you have kids this place is perfect for you. They have a perfect playground and pool+splash pad. The lake is also very nice.
Very nice campgrounds, owners do a great job keeping the hole place clean. Awesome stuff they all work hard all summer. Very nice pool.nice little store in the front office. Great ice cream. Looking forward to another great summer. 👍
