My go to park, always quiet and taken care of. Trails are cleared after storms and looks good !
We loved it. Close to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology...birds sunshine...quiet lake. We will return!
Personnel was very friendly upon check in and out. Shower house was clean, camp spot was shaded and close to the lake, very enjoyable.
Easily the best part of Terre Haute. It's like a little safe haven in a sea of misery. The trails are beautifully maintained, there's little rocks to sit on on the edge of the lake where you can just rest and be one with nature. We saw tons of little critters: woodpeckers, squirrels, cranes, geese, and other smaller birds. The playground was clean and the little free library was such a nice thing to see. I enjoyed the wetland viewing area as well. They even have a heated bathroom which was nice as it was a little chilly since it's only February. I would definitely go back!
