Peaceful, lawn well cared for, pond, fire pits, pickle ball court, gravel lots. Out of town but that’s alright. Added plus it’s Veteran Owned.

Nice and quite campground. Host was very friendly and responsive to requests to extend stay. Facilities are clean and grounds kept very nice. Lots of green space to walk.

Miles Landing was just an overnight stop for us returning home so we cannot comment on all their amenities. Very clean. Country setting. Nearby lakes or ponds, just down the road, had kayaks and canoes out when we arrived. We received a

Military Veteran discount which was appreciated. Our site number was changed but we were told that may happen if the campground became full, so to make for easy arrival and departure for us. The site given was site #43. It was terribly uneven. Our leveling system didn’t even make a dent in attempting to level. We moved the fire ring and camper over as far as we could and it still was not enough. We managed for just one night, but would not want that site for longer. Photos attached. The sewer hookup is about 12 inches taller than the campsite’s gravel pad. Our sewer hose slinky holder was not enough and we had to use 4x4 boards we found left at the campsite to raise in height so we had adequate flow to sewer line.

We were avoiding southern storms and lucked out finding this gem heading east out of Illinois.

I love the area. Very green, full of very lush trees and vegetation. Close to a kayak launch and fishing. The campsite is along the edge of the water but you can't really see the water. Still a beautiful property.

We will definitely be back.

We stayed two nights while traveling through the area. They have 4 spots available for short-term stays, and we stayed there on spot #1. There was a nice picnic table and fire ring. There were many people staying in the long-term loop, but all of the rv's were nice, and their areas were all clean. There is a nice area to walk the dogs along a large pond and a shaded area full of small trees . We had a nice sunset view over the pond from our rv. We didn't use any facilities, but we enjoyed our stay.
