Fishing sucks! They need to invest in stocking the lake or they will lose day use people, as well as campers who come for fishing. We love to camp here if other places are booked, not as private sites but still a get away. We also wished they did allow at least electric golf carts for those who come to fish with out boats. It’s a long haul to fish from the camping area and not great to drive cars/trucks back and forth with kids all over. Golf carts would be nice for the kids can be seen easier and less car traffic. This could also help add more income for the park if they wanted to charge for golf cart fees. Most places its a $25-$50 yearly pass or $5 a day(total $10-$15 a weekend). Trails need more signage to fond it easier. Also I wish they would check the fire rings. This Labor Day weekend we had socks and trash in our fire ring when we arrived. Wish there was a smaller play ground equipments for toddlers for safer playing. Like I said this is our place for last minute if all other places are booked. It wpd be a regular if it met more of our desires.

No Sewer hook ups! Advertised as "Full Hookups". The price is not worth it if you plan on staying longer than your tanks will allow! This is NOT full hookups. They do have a dump station, very hard to make the turn in to get to if you're TT, RV, fifth wheel is longer than 20'. Huge boulders block the turn in! You will have to pull in and back up a couple times, so be very careful! Other than this and the lake view sites being right on top of each other, it has great potential. Lake is decent size, trails are ok. You better be an athlete if you plan on taking a mountain bike down those trails! Good hiking 'only' trails. We stayed 8 days. Cost almost $400.00 (so my fellow campers will know) You cannot book online, so it's first come, first serve. Kroger and Aldi's, tractor supply within 5 miles. Fishing is good. Staff is awesome! Hope this helps! Rating 3 stars just because of the staff.

First time trail riding, trails were clean with very few litter bottles. Definitely will be coming back!

Hidden gem in East Central Indiana. We've seen bald eagles fishing there and deer drinking at the water's edge. Lovely foliage in the Fall too.

I'd read some negative reviews on this park, but we have walked the entire 8.6 miles around the lake & it was well maintained, recently you can see marks of sawing & clearing of debris. Also some trail signage, we love ❤️ this park.
