Has great launch and good views. The very last campsite next to the lake is awesome for shore diving
My friends were taking me around Kenai and showing me their favorite spots. Can't wait to get back to this campground. There was a Loon that was doing both the summer and winter calls. It was absolutely mesmerizing.
Probably the best campground I've been to in Alaska this summer. The view is spectacular. Perfect little cove for watercraft activities. Clean bathrooms with hand sanitizers.
There are outhouses, free parking, amd a free boat launch. The campground hosts are really picky about campers on the grass. They will fine you and make you move your tent if you set it up on the grass. That's the only downside though. Just pitch your tent on the gravel and you'll be fine! There are pavilions and bear proof dumpsters. The lake has beavers and lots of fish. It's good for boating and paddle boarding... Super clean, too. You can see to the bottom even in 10+ feet of water.
Gorgeous campground. Worth the drive. Get here early for good campsites. Great for families. The lake is stunning. Clean, plentiful bathrooms and a great deal at $10 a night or half price with your. Access Pass.
