A good campground on the Denali Highway and there are not very many campgrounds on the Denali Highway

We enjoyed our space which was right by the river with a view of a building working its way into the river

The spaces are far enough apart to be independent of your neighbors, and are heavily wooded

Lived in a line cabin for the Denali Mine that is owned by BLM. It's on Brushkana Creek due north of the campground until you go down a hill to a bigger creek where Monahans comes in. There's an old bridge there and a great grayling hole. The cabin is west of the bridge. Has two wood stoves in it. We spent the summer and most of the winter of 1978-9 here.Lots of memories. Haven't seen pictures of it for years but I have some.

Stopped in for a night and thoroughly enjoyed. Clean, well stocked for as late in the year. Beautiful creek, a couple of trails, fire pits - just what we were looking for.
