Worst attitude from a camp keeper I have ever experienced! The absurdity of how rude and downright threatening the camp keeper was is through the roof. I am not kidding when I say he went out of his way to threaten and insult guests at the grounds. I actually blanked out on him as I was taken aback so much. I would have laid into his attitude if I wasn't so shocked by the level of unabated unprofessional language. ADDING to this insult, the campground is dirty, flies and mosquitoes everywhere. Water was a nasty yellow color which made us loose a lot of travel time as we had to flush our potable water tank. There is practically no redeaming quality of our Stay here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Sites were well maintained. The owners were very helpful. They allowed us to build a fire in their lodge. The kids hung out in their, read books, played checkers, while wide and I had drinks at the bar. They had a hot sauce challenge, and chilli available as dinner option. That was welcome as we were on the road for so long and eating sandwiches, or fast food meals. More folks came and sat at the bar, more drinks, laughs. They even made fun of us being from CA.

I enjoyed my time their. The kids desserts were a lil pricey for a shot glass worth of ice cream, but they enjoyed it. Would stay again in my way back down to lower 48.

Delightful!! We had a camping site right on the creek and were lulled to sleep by the musical sounds of the quickly moving water. Bathroom/showers were incredibly clean and recently remodeled. Karen was great fun to talk with...she is an expert on the area and so knowledgeable about its history. Pick up her book! She had wonderful suggestions that we incorporated into our trip. Her husband is a gem too. On occasion he would make rounds and talk with campers who were outdoors. We felt very safe and comfortable. Thank you both for a lovely stay! We stayed there on 07.03.23

We absolutely love this place so much so that we are spending our entire vacation here!

The sounds of the creek are so relaxing!

Karen is so kind to share her knowledge of this area and has even written a wonderful book which we purchased and read that very afternoon such an easy interesting read! Pick it up give it a read!

Andy is so kind to help out and wants everyone to love their stay here.

Oh my goodness the food here! Sooo delicious! Best chili 🌶️ and pizza!

And the dessert will put you into 7th heaven!

And about the brownie dessert!

We feel as though we have stepped back into history here!

This place is super clean, so beautiful and has friendly helpful people!!!

I have seen the bad reviews and I believe that it’s sour apples because they most likely did something wrong and lied on their post because this is the most amazing camping place anyone could ever ask for, Or they want city living conditions in the bush if that’s what you want don’t come to Alaska.

We had the good luck to be able to stop at the Ranch House RV Park twice during our trip to Alaska. Andy and Karen were super hosts; within minutes we felt welcomed and at home with them. The RV park is super, with great hookups and just about every site creek side. The pizza and chili available in the Ranch House Lodge were by themselves definitely worth the stop. Definitely a 5-star RV park and lodge and we'll definitely stop by again on our next trip North.
