Very nice rustic rv park on Lake Matanuska. Borders the Matanuska State Park with walking trails around the lake. Very nice clean showers and bathrooms. Laundry available at a reasonable price. Owners are very helpful and personable. Asain restaurant on site with very delicious food and reasonable prices. Chef John says he uses only fresh ingredients and the result is fabulous. Rooms are also available in the lodge.
A lovely RV park with views of the lake. Desi was so very helpful and kind. Restaurant behind the office was beyond delicious. If you like Thai/Chinese/Hmong food, this is some of the best I’ve ever had - and I’ve been to Thailand and China.
We truly enjoyed our night here. Given the choice of 3 sites we chose to stay near the main building. Price was reasonable with included shower and laundry was a decent price. Facilities were clean and we were able to have a campfire with a decent price for the firewood. Late checkout was an amazing bonus. I would have stayed a second night if my itinerary had allowed for it. The proprietor was friendly and easily approachable.
Awesome place! Very homey, feel good place to stay. Restraunt on property and all convinces needed. Beautiful pond to do some fishing, while you stay. Definitely recommend. The owner makes you feel like family.
I visited back in early May with family. We only stopped by for a quick lunch break as it was our first day arriving in Alaska. It was very comfortable, kid friendly and cozy like. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were great as well. I would love to visit again when given the chance.
