TR Family traveled to Alaska and stayed at this camp for 3 nights. They set up camp under the glacier landscape. This is a camping site. Most of the ground is stone. There are simple toilets and clean water. Be careful of black bears. It is the first choice to participate in Ice Climbing. , the glaciers along the Eriemine Trail hiking route are spectacular and a great experience!
Jim is an interesting guy, the price is fair and the location is beyond words
Totally unimpressive business, but it's in a fantastic location and they don't beat you up with the prices. Note that the "campground" is just mostly unimproved land with an outhouse. Driving to a spot to camp was the most dangerous "road" of the trip. Self-pay at the table next to the entrance to the parking lot.
