Green lake is such a beautiful little town. Very nice community. The barbecue up there is amazing.!!

Green lake trail, 4/29/21
For those of you heading up for Fishmas, be warned, 1/2 of the trail is covered in snow/ice and the trail is easy to lose. 2hrs in and I had to turn around due to not enough light left in the day, which leaves this as an adventure for another day.
Absolutely gorgeous backcountry lake in the Hoover Wilderness. The trail to get there is about 2 1/2 miles each way and passes through some great scenery, including the Green River (several easy crossings) and a large beaver pond. While the "big" lakes around Bridgeport were getting blown out Green Lake was calm and pleasant. Oh, the Brook Trout are also beautiful 😁
