This is a really nice campground! They have about 18 spots and there’s no reservations, so you have to get there with the right timing and we were fortunate to get campsite right on the river, #2. Beautiful and relaxing, and if you don’t feel like cooking when you’re camping, you can go to the lodge at the Kennedy Meadows and have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend for fishing and a beautiful place to camp right on the Stanislaus River.
Beautiful campground. Kenny (the camp host) was very nice and informative. Walking distance to Kennedy Meadows Resort. Located by the river.
John and his wife keep this campground super clean! Outhouses so clean you can't believe they're outhouse!!! Very friendly too ❤❤ Hope they are there next year when we go back, I couldn't imagine anyone doing a better job than this couple! Peaceful and serene with the river running at the backside if almost all campsites. It was perfect!!
Kennedy Meadows is a beautiful area to visit and camp. They have campgrounds for tents and rvs, they also have cabins to rent, a well supplied store, restaurant and bar, best of all there are horses to rent, this place has everything for a great fun filled outdoor adventure, the river was running slow so it made it nice to get in the water, highly reccommend a visit!
Tent camped four days in the walk-in site by the river. Camp host was professional and friendly. Day hiked and enjoyed a 1/2 day guided horse ride. Good place for experienced campers and riders.
