We checked in about 12noon on Saturday and the check in process was great. Friendly staff and super quick. We reserved a pull-thru site and it was perfectly level.

Sites are all level, picnic tables were in great condition. Laundry room was clean.

The whole property was well kept and quiet.

Would definitely go back to this RV park.

Beware their check-in cut-off time is 8PM, if you reach beyond that they would not check you in, would not leave your keys in a box and most importantly would not refund you.

I booked a room last minute a day before at this location as I was travelling from the Bay Area to Lake Tahoe and wanted to stay for a night on the way, upon booking the property I got a text and email from the property the next morning notifying me about the last check in by 8 PM policy. This was a shock since I have never experienced such a policy in any hotel/Airbnb before. Granted they might have stated this policy in their booking policy itself, but at least to me this was not obvious, and I learned about this only on the day of travel. As I had some other commitments during the day, I reached out to the property about cancelling the booking since it was looking very difficult for me to reach here in time. The manager on the phone declined to leave out the key or cancel the reservation. Since I was left with no other choice, I decided to cancel some meeting and try and making it there by 8, however we met with an accident on the way and our car had to be towed. So, I was left with no choice but let this reservation go and lose my money. I also tried to call them again and explain the situation and they declined to refund even partially given the circumstances.

We plan our church group every year here. Very accommodating. Several rooms were booked and clean and campsites are always prestine! Only issue is not even a service dog is allowed in motel portion of the lodge. We ended up having to keep for the owner in our rv. And no one can even come to visit a guest unless they pay for the night. These are the only issues we've ever had and absolutely love Tim and Scott for taking such good care of our group in all other ways. Blessings to you both 🙏

We stayed only one night here and I literally called as we were driving down the road to reserve. It was an unexpected gem! The pool was a fantastic surprise, my kids (9 & 11) loved all the games and hunting for lizards! It was surrounded by beauty and so peaceful. The campground staff were all so welcoming and helpful, it was a happy little accident that we found Meadowcliff Lodge!! If we are passing through again, I would stay in a heartbeat!

We reserved this place for 5 nights. It was our anniversary.

This place started off alright but my room smelled like smoke. We told the management and they blew it off as the first use of the heater. We were concerned because they say they charge a 350 dollar cleaning fee for smoke damage.

After that morning, we got a call while away at 1 PM. We had to leave because my brother passed away from a massive heart attack. When I walked in to tell them, the first thing the lovely lady said was, we do not give refunds. She didn't even acknowledge the horrible moment we just had gone through.

Needless to say, they wouldn't offer any portion of a refund. We only stayed 1 night. They actually charged my Ccard at 7:30Am the morning before we even arrived for the full amount of $524.16. These people are heartless, greedy and evil in my opinion.
