Elevation 9700 feet. 13 campsites on Tioga Lake near the Tuolumne Meadows entrance to Yosemite NP. This is Bear Country. Please store food properly and don't feed the bears. Small RVs or short trailers only, no RV hook ups.
From US 395 at Lee Vining, go west on CA 120.
Just outside Yosemite, this is a gem of a campground. No hookups, but the view more than made up for that. It’s not far off the road, but wasn’t an issue. The sites closest to the lake fill quickly. Each site has an assigned picnic table.
Great place to stay overnight whether you want to put up a tent, have an RV or planning to sleep in a car. Each camp cite has a table, fireplace and a bear box for your food. Magnificent view to wake up to, but please mind the capacity of the camp. Only few spots available!
