About Campground

Glamplyfe OHIO offers a luxurious waterfront RV site at Happydale Retreat!

Located approximately 1 hour away from Columbus, Ohio and 2 hours away from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Happydale Retreat is tucked away in the pristine trees and hills of the Appalachian Mountains.

The retreat offers only 9 stunning RV sites that are ideal for lucky guests to experience glamping. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rates.

Come experience a happier and healthier lifestyle!

The RV site accepts all types of rigs. The back-in sites are 55 feet and the parking area at 24 feet, wide enough to accompany any rig. The sites also offer electric and water hook-ups. The sites can also fit slides on both sides. RV guests also get access to all the amenities on the campground.

For daily activities, guests can fish and/or kayak on the private lake. The lake is stocked with fish, so it’s guaranteed that guests will experience a catch (and release). Equipment can be rented at the trailer. (All participation of activities on the grounds are at the guests own risk.)

After a busy day of exploring the lush trails and private lake, guests can experience the unique shower house in the hills that features private marble showers and modern interior designs. (Access to the shower house from the cabins is \~50 yards hike.)

In the evening, guests will love spending time together in the uniquely crafted interior, whose rustic wooden design create a warm and inviting space, with a comfy reading corner by the window overlooking an unobstructed view of the lake.

Outside, there is a lovely fire pit area that is ideal for gathering around the bonfire for s’mores and stargazing.

In the morning, guests can sit in the fresh air and sip a hot cup of artisan Blue Rose Coffee at the check-in trailer.

Upon reservation, all guests have agreed electronically to all of Glamplyfe's waiver terms as listed on the online reservation portal. Camping activities, at times, can be risky, and participation is at the guests' own risk. The shower house bathroom is ADA compliant but may need special lift accommodations. Check in time is 3PM – 6PM. Glamplyfe staffers are happy to provide any necessary accommodations upon requests.

I’m writing this review for the sheer fact that they lie through their teeth in the description. “Tucked in the Appalachian Mountains.” We just drove directly next to it on i70. There’s nothing tucked anywhere. No mountains in site. Maybe the hill it sits on is a bit elevated but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was made from the dirt they dug out to make the “lake”. While it is cute they make it sound like it’s this secluded mountain beauty and it’s most definitely not. Please research before you go.

I stayed here with my sister and puppy, and we had a GREAT time! Great views, friendly (and very accommodating) interactions with the folks who own it, and a great experience for anyone who loves nature. VERY clean bathrooms too! :) We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay and plan to be back once it gets warmer! It was a cute space and was very minimal while still having everything you needed to be comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and very nice. Hosts/staff were friendly and very accommodating!

I can’t say enough about this place. It was the perfect get away for my fiancé and I. The cabin was absolutely perfect. We loved sitting and watching the water and the pretty sunset. The cabin was so comfy and beds were great we did not want to leave. The restrooms were up dated and very clean and there was tons that you could do. Staff was very friendly. Loved that it was pet friendly, we will absolutely be back. Only bad thing I can think of is we only booked for one night!

I love this place sooooo much! It has everything you need for camping. The bed is so comfy and the room is cozy. The view is AMAZING! The staff is super friendly and the best thing is the private bathrooms. The room had a microwave and small fridge (which I did not expect) and made our stay a great experience. I love that they are pet friendly as well. I can’t wait to come back in the summer time.
