About Campground

Directions

From Pacific Coast Hwy, (Rt 1) exit to go west bound on Channel Islands Blvd. About 6 tenths of a mile you have to make a left turn to go over Rice Blvd overpass. Left on Ventura Road to go South. Travel about 3/4 mile to the Main gate on the right and just past the new Seabee Museum. Turn right onto 23rd Street to the gate (the street changes names from Sunkist to 23rd Street at this intersection, just to make things confusing). If you don't have a current base sticker (some USAF bases have stopped issuing them), you'll have to get a temporary pass at the building immediately right of the gate. Once past the gate, continue straight ahead. Go thru 3 stop lights, the last one is Pacific Rd., then pass two new buildings on the right and turn

Definitely not worth $55 a night. The spots are mostly level and the parts they’ve redone with rock are nice but when we checked in they told us to take advantage of the laundry, it’s free. We’ll there is 1 working washer and from the sounds of someone else’s laundry banging around it’s about to be non functional too…. they have 6 dryers but I don’t know if they work because I couldn’t wash my clothes. I wouldn’t have been surprised because a lot of FamCamp laundry rooms are non-functioning but he specifically told me to make sure I “take advantage of the free laundry.”

It is not a resort. You are next to the golf course and they have 2 dog areas and sad bathrooms.

HIDE YOUR KIDS! Decent RV park located on a military base. A lot of spaces, pull through parking for campsites newly renovated rocks. They removed all the grills so you better have a grill to cook on for yourself. Front desk lady seems very adamant to yell at children and not allow them outside of campers not that there is anything for kids to do here. Free washer and dryer when they are working which is half the time. Not to mention located next to the golf course so look out for flying golf balls if you don’t catch who hit the ball good luck on the bill. Real adamant about the speed limit front desk woman comes running out of the office if you go 1 mile over five. Somethings is just not right with this one.

4 star only. Place at the beach is really great the only thing that makes it a 4 star due to the fact that the place is crowded and no internet.

Great Military RV park, adjacent to Seabee Golf ⛳ course that's in sad shape. Base CO needs to invest some MWR funds.... Trees needs to be trimmed for big rigs on the exit loop and the road leading in/out needs potholes filled. I drove 2 mph to keep from jostling my rig.

Fantastic place, they have rv spots right on the beach. Clean beach and facilities. There is a place to rent all kinds of water fun equipment and everything else you could need.
