About Campground

Whether you're looking for a place to call home or a vacation spot, Sandy Shores Park of Oceanside, CA is the place for you. We're walking distance from the beach and the harbor! From casual, family-friendly grub to more upscale fare, The Harbor Village offers visitors a wide array of dining options featuring fresh, local seafood in a picture-perfect waterfront setting. Harbor Beaches' extra-wide sand make them ideal for walking, jogging and sunbathing. There are volleyball courts, sheltered picnic areas, and a playground near the RV park, all on the sand. The beach is a popular surfing spot, especially near the jetties. At both ends of Harbor Beach are jetties, which are popular fishing spots. We're also a 20-minute walk from the Oceanside Amtrak CoasterTrain Station.

Only emailed to discuss long term stay. Staff seem to be very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be looking to stay here if we get to SoCal.

Although I have not stayed here it is not for lack of trying. Each time I attempt a stay through the website I’m told there’s no availability even though the website shows otherwise. I have spoken to Gail Perry the on-site manager and although she seems nice enough her replies regarding the availability discrepancies between what’s showing on the website and what she has available onsite are always turned around on the owner’s inability in not keeping up with the company website. That’s all fine and well but it makes it difficult to navigate stays for RVers like myself when a website or a reservation is not managed properly. I am in the process of trying to get in touch with the higher ups.

My in laws currently live here and have had to deal with uninhabitable conditions since March of this year. Their RV, which is owned nd rented out by the park, has split in half and lets in the rain and cold air. Their home gets flooded and there is a large dip in the foundation! Management has given them a phone number to call and done nothing else. A "repairman" came over to put a PIECE OF DUCT TAPE outside the unit. The owners of this property are slumlords and we will be considering our legal options going forward. Under no circumstances should you consider moving here.

Love staying here, so close the the beach and harbor. Quick access to the base and I-5. Quiet atmosphere, clean and great neighbors. Bathroom and laundry is quite old, but clean and functional. Gail and her husband do an amazing job caring for this place.
