We’ve been coming to this park for years! It was a nice park before but since the remodel it’s amazing! There is a bike trail that goes around the whole park, a beautiful pond with fish, ducks and turtles. You are allowed to catch and release here. Great location to bird watch. I have seen groups walk around noting all the different kinds of birds. Super cool. The playground area was updated too and the kids love it! Parking can get a little hard on busy days, like weekends. There is plenty of street parking though. Lots of space for birthday parties as well!

I was down and out and decided to cheer myself up with a bike ride along a beautiful path that takes me all around the lake. On the path I got to see two love birds, mates for life, doing their thing on the pond that is adjacent to the lake. I picked up some litter that thoughtless visitors left behind. We all have to do out share to keep the park free from litterbugs. It was a fun time. I enjoyed photographing the two ducks and I don't think they minded being the center of my attention this afternoon. It helped to put my troubles aside and just enjoy a couple who didn't need anything money or shelter to survive. They were an inspiration to this California native.

I don't live in this area, but was pleasantly surprised, when I came acorss this gorgeous park. The park has a lake, ducks, birds, squirrels, bike path and multiple sitting view points throughout the park.

I stopped and took a morning walk half way through the park and it was safe. I will safe, keep your eyes open, as I wasn't familiar with the neighborhood, but I did see a variety of people enjoying the park as well. Also, plenty of parking without any hassle.

Thank you!

Park is really been updated from the last time I was here in early 2000s. And put a trail almost 3/4 around the entire lake they actually have a land bridge where you could cross the southern section of the lake. Would have been better if the trail went around the lake completely but this is definitely an upgrade from what it was and '90s and '80s. I would definitely recommend coming here.

This is a great regional park. We enjoy its trail along the lake. I have seen it transformed from a swamp to a beautiful park. I have driven by the neighborhood and never have time to explore… I think you would have a great time there, plenty of parking spaces. Pictures were taken in early Sunday morning.
