About Campground

Stay in our luxury air conditioned and heated tent cabin at Morning Song Farm! This is a great place to enjoy privacy, quiet, and an organic farm, yet still close to wine tours, ballooning, and diverse dining options in nearby Temecula and Fallbrook. Semi-outdoor kitchen with stove, and oven. Large chest refrigerator, freezer, hottub. Locking front door. Private too.

Guests can walk the farm, gather eggs, meet our beautiful alpacas, Silverado and Dusty. Our family of peacocks often fly in to the goat barn at dusk in hopes of treats.

Stumbled upon this place randomly on google maps while trying to find a hotel near Temecula, I’m so glad I found it as it is now my go to for any trips I have near Temecula! I’ve stayed at romantic farmstay and whimsical escape! Both places are phenomenal with nice touches to each! I plan on staying at each place once specially the mountain house! Keep up the great hospitality and thanks for having such a cool place to get away from the busy city life!

We just came back from a 3 night stay in the 2 bedroom bungalow. All I can say is WOW! The cabin was way bigger then I thought it was going to be. The hot tub was nestled in the trees with the most incredible view of the valley and starts at night time. The place was super clean and comfortable. Dawn was so sweet and answered all my questions through out our stay. We are already planning out next mini get away there.

What an awesome weekend! We stayed in the two bedroom bungalow which was much bigger than I expected. Pictures online don’t do this place justice. Full kitchen and living room. There’s a chicken coop in the back that is private to that bungalow and we went and got fresh eggs each morning. The view is unbeatable! We took a cheese making class and an ice cream making class and both were so fun and informative! We made ricotta, cottage cheese, butter, and queso fresco. For the ice cream making we used an old fashion Amish churner and it yielded about five pints! There’s goats, alpacas and chickens to visit and feed as well as very friendly peacocks that roam freely. Don the owner is so kind and accommodating. I can’t wait to come back!

PROS: This is an excellent location if you want to get away from it all; it's secluded--you only see a few neighboring guests walking around. We stayed in the Mountain House unit and it had a nice view of the hills. We enjoyed having a private hot tub though it was not hot enough until about five hours after check-in. The room was tastefully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with ample kitchenware plus movies and games. The bed was excellent. The location is quiet, just with the sound and feel of the wind rushing through this small house perched on a steep hill. We enjoyed being about to see the farm's chickens, goats, alpacas, and peacocks. The host, Dawn, was kind and responsive.

CONS: There were not activities nearby that interested us (it's a wine-tasting area) and it was a long drive to get groceries (bring your own with you). It was too far to the beach at about 40 minutes each way. The drive in and out is curvy, steep, and sometimes single-lane. Backing out of a dirt space with a steep nearby drop-off was nerve-wracking and not something I would want to do in the dark. The price was high.

Our family had an amazing experience here! Our two children (8 and 5) loved feeding and interacting with all of the animals on the property. We did several food classes during our stay: cheesemaking, jam making and ice cream making. Incredible! Not only did we come away with some delicious food and new skills, but we learned so much from the family and staff about the farm. We cannot wait to come back!
