About Campground

The Holidays' trailers are located in San Clemente State Beach, on a coastal bluff only a short walk to a beautiful beach down below. Our trailers are positioned in a way so that they face each other and share a central, communal median area. Each of our trailers can accommodate 4 adults plus a smaller child in an overhead bunk. The trailers have a sink for running water, refrigerator, and Stove Top area to cook. USB chargers to charge phones and iPads, speakers with bluetooth, and lights run off of Solar Power. Because the trailers are on DRY camping sites, not hook up sites, the electric outlets and bathrooms are not in use. The bathroom has been conveniently turned into a closet/storage area for your use. We provide all you need to sleep, eat, and cook, as well as an outdoor bin with games and beach activities. Each campsite has it’s own firepit as well as outdoor grill for you use. The site accommodates up to 8 people, so you are welcome to also bring a tent to sleep all campers!

Really great camping spot with trailer rentals. You get your own picnic table and fire pit plus it's a 3 min walk down to the beach. We had a lot of fun here celebrating a friend's bday. Beware, if you are a tall person like me you will not find comfort in the trailer. The sleeping spots are tiny and I only slept a few hours every night. Next time I will bring a tent and sleeping bag

A fun, unique experience for the family. I love to camp; my boys do not. This is a nice compromise! It was wonderful to have running water and a stove to cook on, beds and a place out of the sun. Close to the bathrooms and safe. Wonderful vintage vibe. Short beautiful walk town to the coast. One morning, around 7am, we saw a school of dolphins playing in the waves. The campground is on top the coastal cliffs, so you don't get train noise (often the problem with coastal camping in CA). I already have my next stay booked, and plan on booking for a long stay once a year.

Everyone had a great time while camping at the Holidays. My group occupied two trailers and one family set up a tent. The site is spacious. The vintage trailer is so adorable. I like the picnic table with strung lights (solar), very romantic. I had never camped in a trailer before so this is really convenient with all necessary tools available. It was pretty fun figuring out how to make everything work, water (need to turn on the pump), stove, fan, setting up sleeping area. There is detailed instruction (and make sure to watch the check-in video) to make things easy for you. I should have watched the video before I called the host to ask about the water. Andy picked up right away and was very friendly explaining the water pump. I appreciate all the beddings, pillows, towels, beach towels to make this an easy camping trip. The kids love the toys available to them and tried the body board for the first time. The fridge is a good size. I was able to fit an 8" cake with box inside. The freezer section works too.

There are a few things that would be helpful to bring along (in addition to food and clothes). These are normal items for tent camping so are easy to forget when camping at a trailer. Flashlights/lanterns, paper towels or dish towels, roasting sticks for s'mores. I guess that's it. It's really easy camping. I recommend camping at the Holidays.

We loved our stay in the Drifter trailer! It’s a great campground on the water, we saw dolphins and spent lots of our time watching surfers. The trailer itself was cute, clean and well equipped. We would certainly recommend.

Cute spot for a weekend escape! It's apparent that a lot of love went into building this special place. The trailers are darling and have such a fun retro feel. We loved the versatility of the interior. The dining/table section becomes a bed and the back bench and shelf can even be converted to bunk beds. Perfect spot for families to spend a few days even though we stayed as a couple and enjoyed ourselves. The trailer has running water, a stove and everything you might need to prep a simple meal. The community campsite amenities offer hot showers if desired, too, and soaps and shampoo/conditioner are provided by The Holidays. Lots of entertainment, from board games to corn hole to ladder ball. There is a large communal fire pit as well as individual grills/fire pits and tables outside with cute lights. The trailers use solar power which we thought was cool. And you are just a few steps from the beach!
