A Backcountry campground, not much more than a stove, decaying Picnic Table, and a flat area to pitch your tent. A nice, peaceful campground off the beaten path. In 2014 the trail to the campground had many felled trees blocking the path, not sure if they are still there. Beware of Poison oak!
This ended up being a longer hike than we thought. There was only a bit of a scrabbling over walks. The campsite itself is not the payoff. It is the beautiful hike there and back. Bring your own water!
One of my favorite spots in the Angeles National Forest. Nice, easy and mostly shaded hike. Very quiet on the week days. Lots of trees for Hammock camping.
Hiked in Saturday morning from Miller camp ground, we spent the night and hiked back Sunday morning
Good backpacking trip for beginners
