It's unfortunate I'm compelled to write this review. We stayed at Mission RV Park for 6 months from May to November 2023, and had what I believed to be a good rapport with the owner and staff. So I was extremely disappointed and disgusted to find out that the owner, Maria, made a racist remark to my husband about a whole race of people. Maria herself is a minority. After learning of the remarks, I gave Maria an opportunity to respond to an email I sent addressing her horrible statement. Unfortunately, I was only given a generic response from staff that did not address her remark.

My family is interracial, including African Amercian, Filipino and White. We have been traveling full-time from state to state for the past 3 years and stayed in RV parks/resorts in 25 states and this is the most disappointing experience we have had thus far. It's really sad that this RV park does a great job of being strict about their park rules and keeping it clean (which we respected and appreciated) but the owner, who is very present around the park, displayed a complete lack of respect and unacceptable ignorance for people, family and race.

I must give Norma, the manager, due respect. She is kind, hardworking, professional and seems very genuine.

Sadly, the owner's prejudice and unprofessionalism cannot be ignored. We would never knowingly give a place like this our business or refer this establishment to anyone else.

Things were fine initially and I would have left a good review. I wondered why there were so many bad reviews mixed in, but then I found out a likely reason why. The manager seems to have an anger problem and a problem telling the truth. She falsely accused us of untrue things and created conflict where there was none. Her erratic behavior was shocking and bizarre. She seemed to invent an alternate reality in her head and assumed her thoughts were true then acted on that against us. Others need to be aware of her as she's a ticking time bomb.

We stayed here for 3 days the middle of January 2024. The location of Mission RV was ideal for visiting people and doing things in the NE corner of the greater Los Angeles area. Plus, it is a clean RV park that is well managed such that it provides an element of security that some of the other RV parks in the area did not appear to have. We have stayed here before and will stay again when we are in the area.

I really wanted to give a five star review for this facility, but I simply can’t. We travel a lot and visit a lot of RV resorts in the region. Unfortunately, this facility was made terrible by the owner herself, not by the grounds. Granted, this is a very bare bones facility. Definitely not a resort. It’s more like a place to park and have water, cable and power. The problem is that the owner is extremely overbearing, controlling, and militaristic. While booking, she asked a lot of questions that were none of her business, and should never be asked in the process of making a reservation. When I arrived, she was so intense about her rules and regulations that it took away from the relaxation that was intended for the trip. During a two day stay, she entered the area behind my RV while I had run to the store to buy more doggy bags only to complain that I had left dog poop behind my RV and she had to pick it up. She refused entry for my girlfriend at the gate, even though she was a registered guest on my reservation. She called, yelling at me for giving out the gate code to my girlfriend, who was a registered guest. She claimed that I had not notified her of my dog when I booked the reservation, which was false. So, what could’ve been a pretty straightforward and basic stay, and a five star review has resulted in a one star review. My advice to the owner of this facility is to relax, learn how to be hospitable, and to offer a wonderful, relaxing experience for her guests. She is in hospitality and being militaristic does not build loyal customers. I was using this day as a trial run for a long-term stay. The owners actions have done nothing but cost her thousands of dollars in income. In case the owner reads this, hit me up when all your reservations start falling off because of how you treat your customers and maybe I’ll buy the property at the discount from you to provide a better experience to future guests.

Mission R.V. Park is the place to park your RV and enjoy California! The park is safe, well maintained, quiet and if you have any questions or concerns management is quick to get back with you and make your stay phenomenal. They meet your needs and go above and beyond to make you happy!

Note: the people that reside here are nothing but kind and friendly! A pleasure to meet them and or wave and say hello. The amenities are clean and well maintained as well.

A must stay and we will return to stay here to see family and explore! ❤️❤️

Dogs welcome!

Do your part when you stay here and keep it great!!
