Located on county road 167, about 6 miles east of the city of Winters via Texas Highway 153.
We were there four days and the lake keeper was drunk the whole time! He partied with other campers and allowed them to blare their karaoke machine until 12 at night! It was awful! He even stole some minnows from some campers at the doc and said oh well they won’t miss these!
What a hidden gem! Our spot was on the water, what a beautiful way to wake up. Granted it was 30⁰ out. Still, so quiet, peaceful and secluded. Definitely stay here if you can. Minimal hookups but maximum beauty in the heart of Texas!
A great place for fishing, hanging out by the water or a walk. Live bait and snacks inside. Ready to get out and go fishing and camping this is a great clean place to go!
