A great public park with plenty of shade and nice pavilions, on Sundays the local Amtgard LARPers play out there and it's always a great time
Nice place to gather with kiddos on a pretty spring day. Bathroom facilities were locked. Other than that the park was clean and well kept
Great park just around the corner from my house! Live action RP on the weekends is something I want to check out!
Fishing is okay, though a bit tough getting up from and down to the waters edge ( Steep & rocky )in places.
Its a lovely park. Lots of benches and tables, a walking path and there are several spaces with RV hookups 🙂
This park sits at the edge of the city inside a bend of the Leon River with views through trees to pastureland, though it is only a few blocks from a residential area. A disc golf course continues from Raby Park through the grounds. There are a few camping/RV hookups, restroom facilities, and several covered picnic areas suitable for large groups. A variety of playground equipment is spread around. The grounds are well kept, and there is a volleyball court with a net. There was hardly anyone there when we went.
