We showed up pretty late needing a spot for our RV and they had someone still in the office to check us in. We just saw the place while we drove by and decided to turn around as it looked much better than a truck stop. Clean restrooms, nice hookups, and the laundry room was very clean. We also saw the Milkyway and the stars were beautiful! Very little light pollution.
I loved our room. We called ahead and made sure we could park our big scrap trailer at the time and they were very accommodating. The view from the mountain was beautiful. It’s peaceful. The room soaps were the only thing that could have been better (I’m not complaining) but we had our own because we were prepared. I give it 5 starts all around this place was amazing! Great quiet getaway.
The cabin I am in is great . The bed is soft and very comfortable, the young lady that checked me in was very sweet . This place gets all 5 stars from me . Great place to stay . Thank you so much for an inviting stay
This is a gem of an historic nature. The rooms are what you'd expect, but what is unexpected: the clean, sparkling swimming pool and a lobby full of historic relics. After you learn much about the Texas Rangers (not the baseball team), take a hike to the top of the plateau (at the end of the parking lot) to catch an amazing sunrise. All this, and more, in the unassuming town of Santa Anna.
We had a great overnight stay. The grounds were well laid out, easy to find everything. The beautiful pool area is so inviting. The room was immaculate and seemed to be well maintained. My only critique is the sizes of the beds. We selected the double room, as this was the only option I saw online for 4+ people. It would be nice to have at least queen sized beds in the "double" (meaning two beds) room. The sizes of the beds in the double room were full size, or some people call them double size.
