This is a gem of an historic nature. The rooms are what you'd expect, but what is unexpected: the clean, sparkling swimming pool and a lobby full of historic relics. After you learn much about the Texas Rangers (not the baseball team), take a hike to the top of the plateau (at the end of the parking lot) to catch an amazing sunrise.
