Garbage trucks are quite loud on Wednesdays, no showers or laundry services. Only nice to be close to the city parks and city swimming pools

Nice small little place. Centrally located to the pool and splash park for the kids. Also 2 playgrounds. Close to HEB and Walmart. Very reasonably priced.

This was a very nice place to stay, the host was very welcoming and was waiting for us when we arrived. He guided us into our spot, and was very friendly to talk to on numerous times during our two days stay. He gave us good advice on local restaurants. It was quiet at night we felt very safe leaving our motorhome to travel around the area. Our site was plenty long enough to accommodate our 38 foot motorhome and tow vehicle. Easy access in and out of the park. This was definitely a 5 star stay. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely plan another stay here. We camped at 8th & Bridge RV Camp in a 38 ft Motorhome.

This is a small RV park with 8 spaces, but is centrally located for easy access off Hwy 84 and close to HEB, Walmart and restaurants. The on-site manager was very friendly and helpful during my two week stay. There is lots to do in Gatesville. If you want to beat the summer heat there is the community swimming pool and park close by, The City Museum and Gatesville's beautiful Court House that offers tours.... very cool. Would I stay again? Yes!

My wife and I just finished staying here for a week. This was a great place to spend a week. The Manager was extremely friendly and helpful. This RV Park is centrally located just off of the Courthouse square. The other campers were friendly, and quiet. There were normal city sounds, but it was an enjoyable stay. This is a bare-bones type park. If you're looking for frills, this park is probably not for you, but if you want a good place to stay, at a reasonable price, give this park a try. There is a city pool and park, and a fantastic museum nearby. Currently, this is a cash only park. My wife and I will definitely be stopping here again.

Update: My wife and I just finished another stay here and this park has gotten even better. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The manager (Bruce) is excellent. If they have openings when we are in town, you WILL find us here.
