Best RV park in Freer! Stayed there for 6 months while working on a wind project. Some of the amenities included, VERY CLEAN coin op laundry facilities, shower and bathroom, full kitchen, TVs with Direct TV, desk, WiFi, and a huge kid friendly family room and dining area. I must say however the best part was the hospitality that the owners show to their guests!!! Double M you guys are Double Awesome!
My partner and I had to escape the island of Port Aransas, TX due to hurricane Harvey. We found a spot for our RV at this wonderful place. We cannot say enough about the owners and property. They were so nice to us and the lot was great (loved the horses and cows). Upon check out to head back to support the cleanup, the owners heavily discounted our stay knowing our situation, but not knowing, personally, what situation we were actually struggling with. These folks are amazing! It's people like them that shows what a great heart folks still have. If we never see you again, you were an angel sent! Thank you both.
At present this is a park with about 12 spots, but there are another 24 or so that seem to be recently built but blocked off at the moment. It's a gravel surface with some spaces having concrete pads. Wi-Fi worked well for me. The clubhouse is huge with a nice TV and a bowflex that I didn't notice until the last day. Bathroom is a single private unit and immaculately clean. I stayed a week for $125 and found good value here. Residents seem to be full time here.
One of the best parks because of the owners who are very nice and helpful. Sites are spacious and it was quite. Laundry room was clean and the clubhouse has a full kitchen and was decorated so cute for Christmas. Thank you so much for a great stay, and "Ringo" says thank you too!
My husband got transferred here for work & I’ve got to let everyone know the owners marina & marvin are the sweetest, very friendly and kind! The park is quiet and the best part is the convenience of having washer dryer on site open 24 hours! They also have a guest house with a kitchen living area with cable bathroom and shower available to all guests very nice and clean! I highly recommend Double M RV to anyone thank you! - Buelna Family
