Absolutely love this place and John has been magnificent to us. I love the quiet and huge lots. I love the river and everything about this place. I am so sad to leave this wonderful spot. We only have 1 week left :(

Stayed overnight on 12/29/21. What a lovely surprise this little RV Park was. Very small, which gave it an intimate feel. Well kept grounds and friendly owner who met us when we arrived and walked over in the morning to tell us goodbye. There is a bit of confusion as to check in procedures. You actually just choose your own spot and pull in. Those closest to river are back ins, but we chose a pull through since we were just staying overnight. Some spots had trees which made for nice shade, but our 39’ fifth wheel was too high, and we didn’t want to incur roof damage. Just across the street is a small airport, but not much activity. Although the park is easily accessible from the main highway, it’s far enough away that it’s very quiet. Internet worked fine with a little buffering now and then if you were streaming but no problem for other uses. No cable. Folks staying in the park were very friendly. I think most were long term campers, but you don’t see the junk around the campsites that you usually see with long termers. Felt very safe. John, the owner, told us they were catching bass in the river, but we didn’t get to do any fishing. Would love to come back when we can stay longer.

We stayed at Riverfront RV park on our way from Austin to South Padre Island. My first impression was the communication is excellent when I called to make the reservation the previous day. Was immediately connected the owner who answered all my questions. The park itself was very well-maintained and quite unique. Electrical is top notch at exactly 122 V and 60 Hz. Water and sewage was exactly as expected. Very easy to pull through with our 34 foot bumper pull. Also there is an awesome creek or river that runs behind the park. We got our fishing poles out and had a great time the day of our departure. We saw several very unique birds, including a K illdeer, and Vermillion Flycatcher. Overall the park is very well cared for, very clean, and there are bright stars at night. Great rope swings at then back of the park. Quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend this and will be staying there again.

We stayed at Riverfront for the weekend to see the eclipse. I chose this park for the reviews & being tucked away in the back country away from big cities. It's a very quiet park. We noticed a large portion of RVs were longer-term guests, and there is no community bathrooms or showers. There are no firepits, but there is a "community firepit". We brought our electric griddle. The park was very clean with beautiful trees. The owner John was very welcoming & we appreciated that it isn't a party-type weekender park. We even had zero concerns leaving our camper to spend an evening in Corpus with family, which was only an hour's drive from the park. We literally couldn't have asked for anything more here. Thank you for a peaceful getaway! - Shawn & Shanna, Pilot Point, TX
