Good location on the water with pier. Gated. Nice laundry room with pool table. Friendly owners. Basic sites. Old airport runway converted into RV park. Some lot pads are uneven or cracked, seemed like new hookups (assuming because of hurricane Harvey). I added pictures from January 2018. Would be great if they added a website ;)
For a great place to share a common bond of love for your dogs- kids to me and others there- are the dog parks here. There's a side for the larger and one for the little ones. It's a daily activity of fun for them & some real conversation with humans, their owners. Only thing I wish was improved is for the little ones to have as many and not so boring exercise & "tricks" fixtures for the little ones, only a couple of "no brainiers" ones on the small dogs side, where the large dog side has over a half of dozen true equipments for the large dog side. Little ones, like mine, can do all those offered. Otherwise, it's a good place to go
The pier is beautiful and some waterfront sites are too. There are lots of older people like us and it is very quiet. ICW sits next to a waste water treatment facility which can cause a horrible smell and the view is not so nice. My husband loves fishing and that is why we live here. My advice...make nice with the owners and everyone and you will probably see more benefits to living here.
Actually only went by it in the water to do some fishing. Area looks great for fishing. Rv slots look perfect if you want to go fishing. There is a nice pier or even a great spot to launch a kayak while you stay there. Very interested is possibly staying for a fishing expedition.
