A peaceful place to throw a line in, relax, take a walk, watch the sunset, launch your boat, canoe or kayak. There are also campgrounds and RV setup areas available for overnight or extended stays.
Nice marina off the Tennessee River with no wakes. Only problem was no laundry facilities but was listed in the Waterway Guide as being available. They should change that so they don't disappoint other boaters.
I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. It's truly so beautiful and the ammenities are VERY nice compared to other places i've been to. The one down side is the staff. Not everyone but a few either just dont know how to be adults and communicate issues or they just don't know what they're doing. If something isn't up to your standards then I completely understand. But say something. We are all adults and can handle it. But definetly give this campground a try. I can promise you won't regret it! Even if you're just needing some time in nature this is the place where you'll want to be!
We hosted a party at the Kingston pavilion and it was great. The people in charge are friendly and provide a great service. The place is beautiful with a nice view of the river.
