From Rainsville take Alabama Hwy 75 north for 6 miles, then left on County Road 27 for 3/4 mile, then right on County Road 194 to DeKalb County Lake.
I love this place I've been camping here for over 25 years very friendly very safe.
We drove almost 2 hours to come to a carshow and festival and it was worth every minute. We had so much fun coming here and seeing all the cars, looking at the booths, and listening to the music. The park is BEAUTIFUL and very clean and well maintained. They had such a variety of vendors so it was very fun. We absolutely loved it. Everyone was incredibly friendly. I hope they have many many more festivals and I insist that if you are looking for something fun to do make sure to check out Sylvania Alabama during their festivals which is only a short drive from Mentone Alabama where you can rent beautiful properties and enjoy the nature and visit Desoto Falls.
Loved this place. Lots of picnic and fishing areas. Quiet and well kept. Nice walking area.
Only thing I caught out of here was a cold and possibly rabies.
Beautiful place though.
One of my best friends said we would tear them up, which I guess meant the worms, because they were the only think I put on and took off a hook.
Absolutely love camping here an have always caught fish out here. I'd give this place 10 out of 10 stars if I could. The people who run the place are awesome.
